South Africa - National Unity

The South African Apartheid Settlements Act (SA-SA) was a significant piece of legislation enacted by the Government of National Unity following the end of apartheid in South Africa. This act aimed to address the injustices and human rights violations that occurred during this period of conflict and violence.

The SA-SA was enacted to address the negative consequences of the apartheid system. It aimed to provide restitution and compensation to the victims of apartheid and their affected communities. The act recognized the need to address historical injustices and work towards reconciliation and social cohesion.
